1. Detailed description of goods and/or services


Botlyf is a business in the online retail industry that sells electronic goods.


2. Delivery policy



Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within two business days and delivery confirmed by way selected courier service.


3. Export restriction


The offering on this website is currently available to South African clients only.


4. Return and Refunds policy


The provision of goods and services by Botlyf is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Botlyf will refund the client
in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 5 % administration fee.


For warranty returns;

  • Please complete a Warranty Return Application (form requires serial number or invoice number for each item and a detailed fault description).
  • If you are logged into the Botlyf Website (online portal) your details will automatically pull through.
  • Once the online application has been filled in it will automatically mail our technical department all the relevant information
  • Our technician validates the information on the CRO and checks the warranty status. Should the item be out of warranty they will contact you and advise accordingly.
  • Once verified the technician will complete the CRO and mail you.
  • Technical will arrange courier pickup for the CRO ONLY if you are outside a 50km radius from any of the Botlyf offices.
  • If you are within a 50km radius you will need to return the CRO to Botlyf.
  • When You / Courier returns the CRO, technical will check physical stock vs the CRO and verify. With this they will check for any physical damaged items. Should the stock be damaged we will not accept the CRO.
  • A technician will contact you before turning the courier away to ascertain if damage could have been with the courier.
  • Botlyf will only accept items that were listed on the corresponding CRO.
  • Our technician will try and replicate the fault that was described by you.
  • If the fault cannot be replicated, you will be notified and queried on the fault. Should no fault be found the CRO will be completed and stock made available for collection or return.
  • If the fault is replicated, the unit will be swopped out and CRO completed and stock made available for collection or return.
  • If there is no stock of replacement item a credit may be requested.


5. Customer Privacy policy


Botlyf shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal
information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:

6. Payment options accepted


Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, or by bank transfer into the Botlyf bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.


7. Card acquiring and security


Card transactions will be acquired for Botlyf via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African
Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the
website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.


8. Customer details separate from card details


Customer details will be stored by Botlyf separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site.

9. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency


The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is
South African Rand (ZAR).


10. Responsibility


Botlyf takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website,
customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.


11. Country of domicile


This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Botlyf chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under
this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, as South Africa .


12. Variation


Botlyf may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
